Hello. My name is Robyn and I am the "maker" of the works you see here using the "art" of woodburning, also known as pyrography. Pyrography is "the art or process of producing designs or pictures (as on wood or leather) by burning or scorching with hot instruments."

 

The tools I use are the Walnut Hollow Creative Woodburner and a Razertip SK.

 

I call myself a maker because I depend so much on the beauty and words in others and in the world that my only contribution is burning an image of it on wood and sharing!

I am inspired by my family, friends, nature, and the world of humanity.

I live in Travelers Rest, South Carolina with my boo, Mister Vee and an incorrigible mutt, Alexander, also known as Stoppit and Getdown.
